Established in 2019, Love a Greyhound is a charitable organisation dedicated to the welfare and re-homing of Greyhounds. We re-home from all over Queensland, including Rockhampton and Townsville. We transport them from these locations to Brisbane where they are then fostered to loving families to get them ready for pet life.
All of our Greyhounds are fostered for a minimum of 4 weeks before they are ready to be adopted, so we get a great sense of their needs and quirks to ensure a perfect match for their new families!
Love a Greyhound is solely run by dedicated volunteers, who assist with finding suitable foster homes and adoptive homes, and ensure our Greyhounds are healthy and happy. Our volunteers also run various events to promote Greyhounds as pets and fundraise, which allows us to continue as a non-for-profit charity.
Some of our Greyhounds will be visiting the festival, so please stop by for a pat and a chat with our friendly volunteers!

Love a Greyhound will be running a photobooth, where you can take a funky picture with our beautiful Greyhounds – costumes included for both Greys and humans alike! All proceeds will go to caring for our foster Greyhounds. Come on by for a cute memento you’ll cherish forever!
