Can I bring my dog?
We love all Dogs but as this is a partly indoor event, unfortunately we are unable to allow visitors to bring their dogs into the Festival. But when you get home they will be so happy to see you, as you’ll be loaded with treats & toys for them. You’ll also know so much more about him/her! Are Assistance Dogs able to enter the Festival/Venue?
Yes, visitors with accredited Assistance Dogs are welcome and able to bring their dogs to the Festival, however they will just need to show verification at the door.

How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets for the 2024 Dog Lovers Festival are on sale now!

Tickets are under a no-refund policy and will only be refunded if there has been a technical error (such as a duplicate purchase). Ticket refunds can only be accepted up to a week after the Festival through the [email protected] email address. Please note: Transaction and Credit Card fees apply to all tickets purchased online. However, no transaction fees are charged for tickets purchased on-site at the door, only standard credit card charges.

I have lost my email with my tickets. Can they be resent?

Can I change my tickets from Saturday to Sunday or vice versa?

Can I use a Companion Card?
Yes, Companion and Carers Cards are accepted.
Please present your card to ticketing or security staff at the door.You’ll just need to purchase a ticket for the person in your care.

Is there an ATM in the venue?
Yes, ATM machines are located within the BCEC. Most Exhibitors will be selling and launching an extensive range of fantastic New Products and Services at the event with Festival Specials and great offers exclusive to the Dog Lovers Festival!

Are there any additional costs once I’m inside the Festival?
All the features at the event are free upon entry including the Main Arena shows, Main Stage presentations, the DockDogs, Insta-Pooch red carpet, Dog Adoption Zone, Breed Showcase, Ask-A-Breeder Stage, Dog Adoption Stage, Pat-A-Pooch, Perfect Match, Funny Photo Wall and Face Painting. Please note that there are limited seats for the Main Arena, Main Stage and Ask-A-Breeder and Dog Adoption Stage sessions so we recommend you arrive early as spots will be allocated on a first-in-best-dressed basis.

Can we purchase a dog at the Festival?
We are governed by the Queensland Animal Care and Protection Act, which states that under no circumstances are we permitted to have any Dog adopted and/or sold at the event. However all the information will be on hand to ensure you are very well informed on the best options.

What Breeds will be showcased at the event?
The Breed Showcase is proudly presented by Dogs Queensland and visitors will be able to meet and compare a wide range of breeds at the Festival. Click here to find out more! There will also be a wide range of other breeds throughout the event in the Pat-A-Pooch area, Dog Adoption Zone, on the Ask-A-Breeder & Dog Adoption stages, on Exhibitor stands and in presentations at the Main Arena and Main Stage.
