The Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) is run by the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) and is dedicated to finding loving homes for retired racing greyhounds.

Join us at the Dog Lovers Festival to meet a greyhound and talk to our expert staff to learn everything you need to know about adoption and fostering a greyhound. The GAP team go all out to find suitable, loving, homes for retired greyhounds. GAP is looking forward to being part of the festival to celebrate everything canine.

We know that greyhounds make fantastic pets and some of our amazing greyhounds will be at the festival to show you just how great they area.

Some of our greyhound friends are high in energy, excitable and affectionate, others are laid back, calm and reserved. However, greyhounds are best described as quiet and gentle dogs that thrive in a family home environment. Our team is eager to tell you all about just how perfect they are.
