Dr Jerry Liu – AnVetBioSc(Hon I) PhD – Nutritionist
Dr Jerry completed his Bachelor of Animal & Veterinary Bioscience with first class honours at the
University of Sydney. He stayed on to complete his PhD in the same faculty in the area of nutrition
and food chemistry.
Before joining the SASH team, Jerry has conducted research, worked, and consulted for various
companies in multiple areas of nutrition, including pet food, human sports nutrition, human public
health nutrition, ruminant nutrition, and poultry nutrition. Whether it be for you, or you pooch, Jerry
is always happy to talk about food and dispel the many myths around this very complicated topic.
Jerry has two well-nourished dogs in his household, a working-line German shepherd named Oxford
and a rescued border collie named Sahara.
