The Festival will be held in the\u00a0Dome and Hall 2 of Sydney Showground, located within Sydney Olympic Park, 18km from Sydney airport and 14km from the CBD.\u00a0The Cat Lovers Festival will take place next door, in\u00a0Hall 3.\u00a0The entry to the Cat Lovers Festival is via Riverina Avenue, not the Dome.\u00a0To read Sydney Olympic Park’s own transport information page, please click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

By Car<\/h3>\n

We suggest visitors check Live Traffic NSW<\/a> for road updates before setting out for the Festival.\u00a0Plan your trip through Google directions.<\/a> The Park is within postcode 2127. For more information call 02 9714 7888 or visit www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n

Car Parking<\/h3>\n

We strongly suggest pre-booking your parking. Sydney Olympic Park\u00a0charges a flat fee of $30<\/strong> for pre-booked parking. Click here<\/a> to pre-book your car park.<\/strong> The pre-book parking system closes at 11.59pm the day before an event. You cannot pre-book same day parking.<\/p>\n

If you don’t pre-book parking and you’re lucky enough to secure a car park at Sydney Olympic Park on the day of the Festival, you will be charged $6\/hour, with a maximum of charge $30. If you aren’t so lucky, Sydney Olympic Park\u00a0recommends parking near one of the train stations or bus stops shown on the map<\/a> and using public transport to enter Sydney Olympic Park.<\/p>\n

Car parks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground with the P1 carpark<\/strong>\u00a0the closest carpark to the Dog Lovers Festival entrance via the Dome. Look at the\u00a0map<\/a> to see which car park is best for you. Check the walking distances to your event or the height clearances for the car parks. P2 and P4 car parks offer open-air parking for higher-than-average vehicles.<\/p>\n

Free Shuttle from P1 carpark to Festival entrance\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Two free Shuttles (trackless trains) will drive in a loop from the P1<\/b> carpark (the pick-up point will be in front of the ticket booth), <\/i>to the Dog Lovers Festival <\/b>entrance <\/b>at the Dome<\/b>, and carry on to the Cat Lovers Festival <\/b>entrance on Riverina Ave at Hall 3, then circling back to P1. The Shuttles\u00a0will operate every 15 minutes from 7.30am until 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Each Trackless Train can accommodate 30 passengers.<\/p>\n

Free Bus from P5 carpark to the Dome<\/h3>\n

A free Bus<\/b> will operate between the P5<\/b> car park (the pick-up point will be in front of the ticket booth) and the Dog Lovers Festival<\/b> entrance at the Dome. The bus will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 7.30am until 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Each bus can accommodate 20 passengers.<\/p>\n

Please note: Both of these free transport options may be popular for visitors who prefer not to walk to each event, so some delays may occur.<\/p>\n

Accessible (Disabled) Parking<\/h3>\n

There are more than 360 accessible<\/strong> car spaces within the precinct. Please remember to clearly display your Mobility Parking Permit.\u00a0Find out more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Free Shuttle from P1 and P5 carparks to Dome Entry<\/b><\/h3>\n

We are delighted to provide a free shuttle trackless train that will take you directly from the P1 Carpark to the entrance of the Dome.\u00a0The shuttle will run every 15 minutes from 9am to 5.30pm and is free of charge.<\/p>\n

Car parks P1, P5 and P6<\/strong> are in close proximity to Sydney Showground with the P1 carpark<\/strong>\u00a0the closest carpark to the Dome where the Dog Lovers Festival will be held. Our free shuttle service<\/strong> will\u00a0run between the\u00a0P1<\/strong> carpark (<\/strong>ONLY)\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>and the Dome, every 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
