Paws For Thought Rescue Inc (PFT) is a registered NSW animal rescue organisation that has been dedicated to saving vulnerable dogs since 2010.

Over the past 15 years, PFT has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of dogs, with a special focus on senior dogs, complex medical cases, behavioural challenges and those often overlooked by traditional adoption pathways.

Our mission is simple: to ensure every dog, regardless of age, health or circumstance, has the opportunity to experience safety, love and dignity.

PFT currently provides sanctuary and long-term care for a number of elderly and medically complex dogs while continuing to educate the community about responsible pet ownership, rescue, fostering and the realities of caring for ageing pets.
