Visitor Guidelines

• Permission FirstAlways ask the owner or handler before approaching or interacting with any dog.
• Respect SignageFollow any stand signs that say, “Permission and supervision required before approaching dogs.”
• Hygiene MattersUse the hand sanitisers provided throughout the festival after patting dogs to prevent the spread of germs.
• Resting DogsIf a dog is sleeping, behind a barrier, or in a crate, do not approach without the owner’s permission. Dogs may be resting or unavailable for handling.
• Supervise ChildrenEnsure infants and children in your care do not approach or handle dogs without your supervision and adherence to these rules.
• Stay InformedListen for public announcements about dog safety and welfare during the event.
• Report ConcernsIf you notice a stressed dog or have welfare concerns, visit the Organiser’s Office to alert our staff.

Dog Welfare at the Festival

• Beds for rest and quiet spaces away from crowds.
• Access to fresh water at all times.
• Behavioural and health assessments for every participating dog.
• Roving welfare staff, including onsite veterinarians, monitoring dog well-being.
