No Hairs Ark is proudly Australia’s only dedicated breed-specific Chinese Crested rescue and a registered charity committed exclusively to the welfare, rehabilitation, and rehoming of Chinese Crested dogs in need.

Founded in 2015 following years of fostering and rescue work, we provide specialised care tailored to the unique needs of this remarkable breed.

Chinese Cresteds are a sensitive, people-oriented breed that typically do not thrive in traditional shelter environments. As a result, No Hairs Ark is a home-based rescue, with dogs living in foster homes as part of a family, receiving individual care, socialisation, and support while they await their forever homes.

As an exclusively volunteer-run organisation, No Hairs Ark relies on donations and adoption fees to support Chinese Cresteds requiring care, medical treatment and rehabilitation. Since our inception, we have welcomed hundreds of Cresteds into care and helped them find safe, loving, and carefully matched homes across Australia.
