FurKids Rescue is a foster-based non-profit animal rescue organisation operating throughout Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and beyond. For 10 years, our dedicated volunteers have worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of cats and dogs in need.

Our work extends beyond rescue. We are committed to educating our community and promoting responsible pet ownership, helping create positive change and reduce the number of animals experiencing neglect, abandonment and homelessness.

Every animal entering FurKids Rescue receives a health assessment and any veterinary treatment required. Once medically ready, they are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped before being matched with an appropriate forever home through our adoption process.

FurKids Rescue is built on compassion, dedication and the belief that every animal deserves to feel safe, loved and valued. We are their voice, their advocates and, when necessary, their lifeline.
