The West Highland White Terrier Club of Victoria is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serve the best interests of the Breed in our State. An Inaugural Meeting was held on 17th August 1978 for the purpose of forming a West Highland White Terrier Club in Victoria. The meeting was chaired by Mr Bill Burnell with 60 people in attendance and fifty of those people chose to take out a foundation membership on the night.
Promoting responsible Westie ownership and providing advice and assistance for those purchasing, feeding, training, grooming, and taking good care of a Westie’s health. There have been many changes at the club over the years, but one thing has remained constant – our dedication to Westies!
Westie Walks are a popular social event that occur frequently attracting large numbers of Westies & their owners.
We are proud to showcase our magnificent breed at this years Dog Lovers Expo – The West Highland White Terrier.
