OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY (OH&S)The Dog Lovers Festival recognises its moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment for employees (including contractors and employees of contractors), exhibitors and visitors on-site: This commitment extends to ensuring that operations do not place the local community at risk of injury, illness or property damage. Our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) objective is to actively work towards elimination of all incidents, injuries and fatalities. All Exhibitors, contractors, on-site suppliers and any person directly appointed to work on-site must abide by the Animal Management Plan (AMP) the Hazard and Risk Assessment (RA) that applies to the show and the OH&S)requirements specified under the relevant legislation. This includes any OH&S requirements published by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) and readily available on their website. This guidance in no way attempts to replace your overriding obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 and the associated guidance published by WorkSafe Victoria.CHECKLIST We are/I am compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (2004 Victoria) and Regulations 2017 (Victoria) and any amendments and statutory reviews. Prior to construction/installation we/I will undertake a Hazard/Risk Assessment and maintain a Hazard Risk Assessment register If we are/I am involved with site/installation works we/I will participate in any site consultative arrangements. I am aware that the Site Risk Assessment is available on request and will also be available on-site and readily accessible to myself and/or my workers. ANIMAL MANAGEMENT PLAN (AMP) + DOG REGISTRATIONIf you are bringing a dog to the Festival you must read, understand and return a signed copy of the Animal Management (AMP) by NO LATER than Thursday 31st August and abide by it throughout the duration of the Festival. Please return your signed copy of the AMP to [email protected] to register your Dog/s. All dogs attending the Melbourne Dog Lovers Festival MUST be registered to attend. Once you have returned a signed copy of the Animal Management Plan your Festival Coordinator will share a link to register each dog that will be in attendance. An identification tag will then be issued to each registered Dog. This identification tag is required to be affixed to your Dog’s lead/ collar throughout the duration of the event.
