Dancing with Dogs is a fun and entertaining dog sport where handlers and their dogs perform skilful, choreographed routines set to music. Suitable for any breed of dog and handlers of all ages, it celebrates creativity, teamwork and the unique bond between dog and human.

Each routine is built around what your dog loves to do, combining training, movement and music to create a performance that’s both engaging and joyful to watch.

Dancing with Dogs is a recognised competition sport with four divisions: Starter, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. There are two styles of performance:

Freestyle encourages creative and innovative movements, giving the illusion of dancing with your dog and allowing handlers to express their personality through music and choreography.

Heelwork to Music (HTM) focuses on precision and teamwork, with dogs performing in designated heelwork positions for the majority of the routine, highlighting strong training and communication.

Above all, Dancing with Dogs is a wonderful way for dogs and handlers to stay mentally engaged, build confidence and have fun together.
