In the spirit of continuing to deliver an exceptional Festival experience, we’re thrilled to announce two fantastic personalities who will be stepping into hosting roles — bringing enthusiasm, expertise, and a genuine love of dogs.

Brodie Young Takes the Lead in the VitaPet Arena

Brodie is a seasoned live-event host known for his upbeat energy and charismatic stage presence. He has been entertaining audiences on the Main Stage at the Dog Lovers Festival for many years, and now takes on the exciting opportunity of hosting the action-packed VitaPet Arena — home to Festival favourites like the K9 Superwall, Temptation Alley and the Mini Dog Races!

Whether he’s cheering on a high-jumping border collie or introducing a trainer with a story to tell, Brodie will bring a warm, fun and engaging approach that will keep tails wagging all weekend.

Shelly Horton Joins the ADVANCE™ Stage

We’re also proud to welcome well-known journalist and presenter Shelly Horton to the Dog Lovers Festival family! Shelly has previously hosted at the Cat Lovers Festival and is excited to take the leap.

On the ADVANCE™ Stage, Shelly will guide audiences through live demonstrations on training techniques and dog sports. Her relatable style, sense of humour and deep passion for dogs make her the perfect voice to lead this highly anticipated feature of the Festival.

With Brodie and Shelly at the helm, this year’s event will be as entertaining, informative and inspiring as ever.
